Fairy Tail's Natsu & Gray

Meet Gray Fullbuster and Natsu Dragneel from the anime Fairy Tail. Now, I'm not going to do a review of these two figures or anything, others have done that and did a better job than I could ever do.  All I can say is that these two are definitely on my want list of male figures and that I pre-ordered them so they will soon join my collection of boys (well, at least until Erza arrives and I manage to get Lucy in the aftermarket).  Both of them are available for pre-order from Ami-ami with a release date of late September this year. All I can say is 'I can't wait!'

- O -

I've been slowly collecting male figures of characters that I like (see below) and its been hard going since the anime figure market isn't exactly known for producing boys.  The figures I collect are usually from shows I've watched and liked and I try to get at least one figure of each but only if I feel that the figure appeals to me. Unfortunately, characters of 'older' shows are hard to find unless its in the aftermarket or they re-release a figure I'm looking for.  I've only managed to snag my Natsume figure (front middle) because a fellow collector was willing to let him go for a decent price, otherwise he would have been added to my ever growing 'grail' list of figures.

Front row  Left to right): Yukio Okumura (Ao no Exorcist); Takashi Natsume (Natsume's Book of Friends); Rin Okumura (Ao no Exorcist)
Back row (left to right): Kotetsu T. Kaburagi (Tiger & Bunny), Yu Narukami (Persona 4 Anime), Barnaby Brooks, Jr. (Tiger & Bunny)
There is quite a few that I don't think I will ever be able to add to my collection like this figure of Kuchiki Byakuya from Bleach or this one of Gilgamesh (well, maybe he is possible since he is still available in the aftermarket).

I do know that Abel Nightroad (Trinity Blood) isn't going to be a part of my collection anytime soon as he is very rare and very pricey.  Not that I really want him since this figure doesn't really represent his character the way I would like him to be represented.

Abel Nightroad (Trinity Blood)

Maybe if they re-did him like these two figures below by ARTFX - Vash the Stampede (Trigun) or Nicholas D. Wolfwood (Trigun) then maybe, just maybe I'd be really interested.
