Bento #11: Its All About Portions

Its all about portions.  I think bentos are awesome in making sure you don't overeat especially if you are trying to lose weight.  However, that didn't stop Hubby from exclaiming that 1 serving of egg noodles (which is about 25 grams and is about 96 calories) isn't very much.  I had to make of sure there was enough veggies and protein in his meal and so I did just that by topping his egg noodles with chicken cooked in black pepper sauce.  I also added an egg and for a treat included 1 1/2 pcs of mozza sticks *grins*.  Oh and a whole apple (not seen).

Today's lunch:
  • Egg noodles and chicken in black pepper sauce
  • Steamed broccoli and cauliflower
  • Carrot sticks and hearts
  • Hard boiled egg 
  • Mozza sticks
